The Green Team is comprised of young people from the ages of 14-18. The Green Team is about environmental stewardship in a service paid program.

This group of diverse leaders learn, connect and educate through:

• Connection between urban neighborhoods and the natural environment

• Exposure to environmental education and outdoor extracurricular activities

• Building connections and community with working with local organizations and businesses to support a greener Erie

• Leadership development in many different green aspects

• Urban agriculture, litter cleanup and vacant lot maintenance
